Why Obama Gets Away with it
Barack Obama is being touted as a new kind of politicians. How true – but for reasons different than most people think. The Hope of Obama is that he would be authentic – genuinely working both sides of the aisle to get practical solutions for the American people. He wanted to move past the Boomer politics of Bill Clinton who used division to power his way through the political landscape.
But what Obama has proven is that he’s a far worse kind of politician than Bill Clinton could ever aspire to be. Clinton was a slick politician, able to triangulate his way through two terms, but he did so openly. No secrets (well, other than the ones Ken Starr uncovered!) . Obama, on the other hand, works the same two-sides-of-his-mouth, what-the-definition-of-is-is politics, except that he does so secretly. He pretends otherwise.
“As president, I will never allow drilling offshore.” “I can see myself supporting an energy policy that includes offshore drilling.” “My position has been clear from the beginning and has not changed.” Anyone who follows Obama closely sees this hypocrisy ABSOLUTELY CLEARLY. Except, of course, those (usually media types) who intentionally choose to be blind to his two-sided hypocrisy, or, even worse, spin it to say, “this is the kind of bold leadership we expect from a president.”
I ask, how can Obama get away with this? How can he get away with openly flip-flopping all around to pander for votes while saying he’s not flip-flopping to get votes? Simple. He plays to the mass of superficial Americans who do not pay the least bit of attention to the words and actions of presidential candidates. They buy simplistic media talking-points and are mesmerized by flashy words and celebrity status over real positions on issues. And rather than being principled on what he believes, Obama plays to the ignorant masses by taking the popular position of the day whether or not it is in line with his “principles.”
So, yes. Obama is a new kind of politician all right. He’s the worst kind. He’s a political wolf dressed in
Armani clothing.

I can’t eat and watch Obama anymore. My stomach turns just thinking about his blatant hypocrisy. I can’t believe how easily people are deceived. It sickens me to see the way he “works” the crowds and how the “common” media play into his current agenda, (whatever that is).
You and I have personally seen this type of evil at work before. It is easy for the masses to be deceived. They are not willing to seek the truth for themselves. The opportunity to listen closely and observe the obvious is too strenuous, so they choose not to think for themselves. Their willingness to be seduced by someone who speaks in half truths and spins whatever is appealing at the time sickens and saddens me.
People like Obama cannot not be exposed to those who choose to remain blind. Those who see him for who he is are accused of attacking him. It’s a lose/lose with him.
Obama says how we treat the least in our society will be the test of America’s character yet he 3 times voted to block legislation to ban partial birth abortion…Hmmm.
Will anyone dare call him out on his obvious hypocrasy?
In Obama’s recent question and answer session with Rick Warren, he said a nation can be defined by how it treats the least amongst us. Apparantly he saw no inconsistency in that challenge to the political system and voting 3 times to keep partial birth abortions legal, and even when a baby is born from a botched abortion attempt, dr’s would not be obligated to treat the mistakenly born baby.. This is a form of infanticide. Obama is the most radical Presidential candidate in our history with regard to this issue.
I wonder if Obama sees the inconsistency in his eloquent preaching and the policies he advocates. Its hypocrasy of the highest order. Hopefully voters will take notice.
